I came to Habana Café for the first time on a Wednesday night just to try it out — and from that moment, I couldn’t stop coming back. I ended up visiting three days in a row for both lunch and dinner. Before coming, I had read some reviews where people compared the food here to Miami’s, and honestly, I think that’s a bit silly. Even when you’re talking about the same type of food, every place has its own flavor and soul. As a proud Puerto Rican, I can tell you: this place is not just authentic — it’s something special. The atmosphere, the décor, the service, the prices, the freshness of the food, the coffee, the bread — everything is just incredible. The staff is genuinely kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. And let me tell you: the Cuban sandwich? Out of this world. Seriously, one of the best I’ve ever had. If you’re even thinking about trying this place, don’t hesitate for a second. Grab your friends, come hungry, and experience real Cuban food at its finest. You won’t regret it. ????????

As soon as I walked up to the restaurant with my mother, we were instantly greeted and invited in. The food was excellent, I got the Pollo a la plancha with Maduros, they were so charitable to give us a complementary order of yuca fries. This restaurant will make you feel like you’re at home (but with way better food!).

I loved this place, they had great authentic Cuban food here. Trust me I'm Cuban. The had a bunch of cool pictures, funny and historical Cuban stuff. Andy was really friendly, great service. I highly recommend this place. I had the pollo a la plancha plate with a side of yuca frita.

Havana Café was outstanding from start to finish. Warm, friendly staff with top-notch customer service, and the food was five-star delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We’ll definitely be back!

I have been wanting to try this place for months and we finally got the chance. My husband and I had a great experience! We sat outside with our dog and were quickly greeted with water offered to our pup. The food was amazing. It has been such a long time since I’ve had a good Cuban sandwich and it really hit the spot. My husband loved the Ropa Vieja. It was cooked to perfection and the sauce had so much flavor. We are so happy that we finally got to try Havana Cafe and can’t wait to go back to try some other stuff!

My consistent pick for best restaurant in town. I walked past it one day soon after they opened while waiting for my car to come back from the mechanic and have been an intermittent customer since. You will try foods you've never heard of before here and you will LOVE them because this is the most scrumptious meal you can have in the city of Eugene. I pretty much always get either a Cuban or a Midnight Cuban but I don't think there's a single bad item on the menu. Andy (the owner) is such a nice, sweet guy, too! He's part of the restaurant's vibe as much as the food is. It's a labor of love and you can tell from taste, smell, sound, and sight.

The atmosphere was fun and welcoming and the decor was beautiful! The Mocha cubano and cafe con leche were were delicious. We got fufu w/ lechon appetizer, bread pudding, and guava & cheese pastry. Everything was tasty!
